Here are some recent pictures of my visit to a lovely village called
Downham, nr Clitheroe in Lancashire. This is where the film Whistle Down
The Wind was shot in 1961! Starring Haley Mills . I went with 2 close
friends of ours Carl and Pam, they love Meat Loaf and have been
followers of the show for many years now. As many fans will know Jim
Steinman and lloyd webber turned the film into a blockbusting musical! .
Having not posted pics for a long time here I think youll agree I have
lost a lot of weight![8 stones!]
We are pleased to announce we now have our latest Album [The Bat
Strikes Back] available here at our YouTube channel. Its the full album
and its FREE!!!!! We have decided to do this in order to give the album
more exposure, enjoy the songs and let us know what you think. We are
now pushing the album in a very big way and would appreciate any help
from you our fans, so why not email the link to all your local Radio
Stations and ask them to play it!
I am pleased to announce that we now have a Classic Rock Legends
section at the end of our show. This has been put together as a result
of me including the odd song by Bruce Springsteen and Aerosmith song
during the set over the last 12 months. The reaction has always been
excellent , especially as the songs we do are get up and dance
tracks.
So now we have dedicated 20 minutes of the show to songs by Bruce
Springsteen, Aerosmith, Bon Jovi and Bryan Adams. As far as I am aware
we are the only Meat Loaf tribute in the UK specialising in this. We
will still continue to do 90 minutes of Meat Loaf as we always have
done, but feel this latest addition will make the show more appealing.
Great review of our new album! " THE BAT STRIKES BACK"
"I just bought this album from Amazon after hearing the title
track on youtube and it I wanted to thank you.
The Bat Strikes Back is one of the best albums I have heard in the last
10 years, and it ranks right up there next to the original Bats. You
sound very much like Meat Loaf, but enough is different that it doesn't
seem like a rip off. The music is great and very much a throwback and
definitely has that classic epic sound of rock and opera blended into
perfection. Every song is top notch and nowhere does the record fail, it
stays true to itself and has now downfalls, but is packed with upsides.
Thanks for continuing the saga with this album, cause it really is one
of the best in a long time.

We have just got a great review of our album from big Aussie Meat
Loaf fan Cliff, read the recent emails from him below. He is doing some
copies as he wants to get us airplay on Australian radio shows. Its an
amazing coincidence that Bat Out Of Hell achieved no1 and cult status in
Australia before the UK and America!
"Hey'a Dean, Just letting you know i received "The Bat Strikes
back" Cd, today. I must say It is an incredible CD, I absolutely love
it, It grows on ya. So true It has the full impact of the Meat Loaf &
Jim Steinman aspect which makes it sound so great and your own material
as well, totally amazing. My wife just asked me has "Meatloaf brought
out a new album?" she did not believe me when i said it's not Meat Loaf,
Ha, she loved it. So, when are you heading to Australia? As we can not
get enough Meat Loaf down here. Any way thank you so much. Keep Rockin'
All the best."
